The Lennox is proud to present a group exhibition featuring seven Australian and New Zealand realist artists united by a shared foundation of training at the realist school, the Florence Academy of Art.
Diverging in distinct and compelling directions, Rob Kelly, Georgina Mills, Troy Argyros, Madeline Shaw, Susanna Robinson, Hannah Sutton, and Surya Murali converge with ‘In Stillness’ - an exhibition exploring nature’s visual language.
Each artist brings a unique interpretation of realism, rooted in the classical tradition but shaped by personal experience and contemporary influence. Through painting and sculpture, their works form a dialogue that speaks to both the individuality of vision and the common pursuit of truth in representation. These works reflect a quiet devotion to seeing; a desire to find and express meaning in moments often overlooked.
